Hey guys,
I need help as I am not that experienced in this area. I have a customer of mine (a realtors office) they have a server with a sever name, there is about 6 computers running off the server with their own login names and passwords. They have a wirelss router that is connected to the domain which connects a laser printer. If the mac computers log onto the wireless router I can find the printers and print from them but if the macs are hardwired to the server they cannot print to the printers or see the printers even when I browse for the ip address the printer is set at. Any ideas? Im not sure how to add a mac to the server domain so any help on that would be appreciated as well. |

Re: adding mac to windows domain
I'd love to help, but I have no idea how to add a Mac to a domain network.
![]() See if this helps, it appears you can indeed connect: http://images.apple.com/macosx/pdf/M...Windows_TB.pdf

Re: adding mac to windows domain
I figured it out.. I had a mac running parallels (virtual windows) they windows side could log on to the server and print to the printers and see file shares, but the mac could not going to the same address.. I figured out I had to add a component in windows by going to add/remove programs, then add windows component, then add other networking, then add os x file and printer networking component. Once I added it into the server everything is working like it should.
