Re: cannot display page !!!!

Make sure in the network setup screens, that TCP is selected - it should already be.

Go to Start->run, enter "cmd" and hit enter and a black dos screen should come up. Type in ipconfig. In the output, there should be a line labeled: Default Gateway : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.

In this screen type in "ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" without the quotes. The xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx number is the same number as the default gateway. I don't expect this to work from what you have said. All you are testing here it the connection between the PC and the router. If you don't have a Default Gateway then the PC is not getting to the router at all. The router should respond with the default gateway IP number.

Can you see other neighbor's wireless setups?

I notice that you are a XP service pack 1. Can you get a cable and plug it in to the router and get SP2 off M$. Your problems could go away with the updated Service Pack. Cables are easier to setup than wireless connections and the cable would be temporary.

Re: cannot display page !!!!

IMO, SP2 is mandatory for wireless connections, it solved a host of wireless issues! You need to get your machine current with service packs, then this issue may simply resolve itself.
