SMC2804WBR & WPA

Can anyone who uses the SMC2804WBR & WPA for wireless surfing help me configure it?
I can't surf the net whenever WPA is enabled on the router, even though laptop said signal strength was excellent (11Mpbs) and password was accepted. SSID also was identified correctly.
Please help, I don't want my broadband hijacked by war drivers.
Thank you.

You have to have matching keys on the router and your wireless adapter on the other end. Obviously, both have to have WPA capability. Have you tried to get WEP working between the two?

Thanks very much Johnwill.
I was using the manual entry passkey option.
And I thought I only have to type in the first
eight numbers that I had entered in the router setup.
Seem like it needed the rest of the 32 characters too.
To tedious to enter correctly.
So I finally settle for the second option of entering
a pass phrase.
You guys are the best!
Keep up the good work!

Sometimes it's the simple stuff that gets you.
