well, that depends on the router's address on the network...
mine is 192.168.254.254 so i type that into the browser. it opens a panel, and normally the password is "admin" if it hasnt been changed to something else.

humm, for some reason i can't get ip from it, does the router support tcpip? or does it require something else?
when i plug in a streght cable into Lan 1, lights r off when i plug cross over on lan 1, the lights r on when there is nothing on wan, it says calbe error, even i plug in a cross over or streght, the light on calbe error still on on router system. when it turn on, it goes > Test > Load > Run and the status lights r all on green..... |

Have a look on the back of the router, there should be a white push button switch labeled mdix or something simular, if you push that using a stadard patch lead does that allow for the lan light to turn on without using a x-over lead.
Can you supply more info re model of the router IE Superstack 3 4250 etc. also the 3com model # appears to be short a couple of digits. Hope this helps, if you can get more info on model etc I should be able to locate manuals and drivers. |
