Browsers on Strike!
hey ppl...
on the work network, there is this computer that is acting a little weird, first it had the problem when i couldnt ping it, or see it on the network, figured that Mcafee firewall was the problem soi disabled is as well as the windows firewall...it ran smoothly for some time.. then i got to discover that IE nor Firefox are working properly, IE gives a BLANK WHITE page, it tries to connect as ONE green bar shows then it resets to nothing....(no "error on page", no "page cannot be dispalyed").. i tried both http & https, still doesnt work... firefox says "Server not found" the firewalls are both off, no proxy is in use and there is internet connection cause i was ablr to download updates, and i updated IE from ver.6 to ver.7, and still no changes... any helping tips would be appreciated thank you! |
