Can you help.
I am wanting to link a computer to a radio modem that is 70 m of Cat 5e wire away. When the new cable is connected to the (netgear) radio modem and computer it does not recognise the connection. No green light come on. I beleive I will need to put some switches in to strengthen the signal but am unsure how to look a the switch specification to see the output level strength. Any advice welcome. Many thanks New Member first thread submitted. |

Check the wiring, it's almost certainly not wired properly. You want the 568-B wiring on both ends of the cable.
