Massive downloads.
To start off with im not sure if i posting in the right place but here goes.
I have 3 computers actively using my internet via a wireless network, i am runing the fastest possible speed that is available in australia and it is unlimited downloads, but after we have downloaded 12GB it slows down alot (as per the plan we are on, and that restarts over 30 dayes..) Now niether of the 3 people that use the computers are heavy downloaders, so we dont download movies or anything large, maybe a few songs here and there. but for a long time now our downloads are taken up in massive quantities and before you know it the internet is back to the slow speed (usualy in a few weeks). One of my freinds sugested it was someone using our wireless internet (like a neibor) so i went to the expence of geting a router that has a WPA encryption. However, this did not stop my problems. Now, my question is, what could be using so many downloads? and is there any way to check what computer is using all the downloads, or furter more, what applications are using the downloads? Thanks in advance, Chup. |
