Two dynamic IP's
My cable internet service gives me two dynamic IP addresses.
I would love to use both of them, but I don't know how. My Linksys WRT54G doesn't appear to have the option to use 'multiple' external addresses. I've called up their tech support, and I always get different answers, or they just plain don't know at all. I'm sure someone here would be able to help me out. Here is the setup: Cable modem -------> Router -----> 6 computers (would like one or two to have a different external address) Thanks again! |

Re: Two dynamic IP's
The only way to use both of them (without buying a much more expensive router), is to put a switch in front of the router and connecting one machine to the second port of the switch, the router to another port with all the other machines.
