hello ,

i am having a serious problem

i have run all my protection

AVG 7.5 paid for
Spybot S&D
Ad-Aware SE
Advanced Windows Care
HJT

all are updated

also

Windows Defender
Zone Alarm Free
C-Cleaner
Belarc Advisor

also

Panda Security ( Active Scan )

all show up clean

-------------------------------

did the

ipconfig steps
reinstalled TCP/IP
winsock repair
reset the modem
reinstalled the drivers & software for my integrated ethernet adapter
also added another pci ethernet network card

i get the (done, but with errors on page ) for everthing except MIcrosotf pages & yahoo

could you please help me

This is an HTTP issue, usually with the site, but it can be some locally installed browser helpers as well.

Have you tried Firefox to see if it has the same issues?

hello again,

yes i have FireFox ,

when i use it it will continuosly say (downloading data) no matter how long i let it sit there/ it shows the page though

will reinstalling IE7 & FireFox solve this

i have been using both for 4 yrs now /matter of fact this is the first real prob. since i bought this pc 4 1/2 to 5 yrs ago

never reformated

it is preventing me from helping here at TSF & doing my other personal stuff for i really dont want to create other issues

i have been having this prob, since just befor christmas /been trying to solve it since

hello again ,

i almost forgot to add that i did have probs. with sp3 ( the new install from microsoft) had to uninstall it but to my surprize it installed its self a day or two later

hopes this helps

all was good this was about a mnth befor this issue arised

hello again,

yeaper !!!

thats what i am in the process of doing !!

i am getting mu usb drive all cleaned up /making sure that all is good then going to scrub the drives then do a clean install

figuared that would be my best bet and see how long i could mak a run of it again !!!

thanks foe all the help and i should be back online by tomarrow
