equipment connections (while on network).
I am trying to connect to a piece of equipment utilizing an IP address of 192.168.168.16 sub net of 255.255.255.0. I am dialed up via an air card going through a VPN. Is it possible to connect via the Lan connection (not used while on the air card) or a 10/100 usb lan connection while still being dialed up?
I can connect to either independently but as soon as I connect with the VPN I can't connect to the 192.168.168.16. I'm using an HP NW9440 laptop. The air card is a PC595. I am trying to connect via the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet. I have also tried using a Realtek 8510 10/100 ethernet adapter. No luck in any case. |

Re: equipment connections (while on network).
The VPN is probably the wild card. Many VPN clients don't allow any other connections while you're connected through the VPN as a security measure.
