Wireless Network Config
Hi,
This question is as much a gaming query as network query. My current wireless network is quite old , adsl modem --> access point --> 4 PC's and a printer, the only niggle is that for some online games only one PC can join (the main PC). My question is there new hardware that would allow more than one PC to join an online game and what requirement would there be for the network config. Another possibility is that my ISP offers two IP's, could this be used and how would it affect my wireless network with 3 or 4 PC's. Any advice appreciated. |

Re: Wireless Network Config
Actually, what is probably preventing you from joining is that you have a single public IP address. If you had two public IP addresses, you'd either have to have a more expensive commercial router, or connect one directly to the modem in front of your router, using a switch.
