can only use internet in safe mode

ok...i dont know where to post this but im having a big time problem with my comp.
im only able to use internet in safe mode

i dont have much info but if there is a diagnostic tool you guys would like me to run i can

im using a belkin router (not sure what exact model) and a D-Link wireless adapter... the other comp can connect just fine so i have no idea whats going on...

what firewall and are you able to access the internet with it disable?

ok...i disabled windows firewall...and it didnt work...

what next?

Please supply the following info, exact make and models of the equipment please.

Make and model of the broadband modem.
Make and model of the router.
Connection type, wired or wireless.
If wireless, encryption used, (none, WEP, WPA, or WPA2)
Make/model of your computer.
Version and patch level of Windows on all affected machines, i.e. XP-Home (or XP-Pro), SP2, Vista, etc.

Also, please give an exact description of your problem symptoms, including the exact text of any error messages.

On any problem computer, I'd also like to see this:

Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt:

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.

well i have switched to my 8 gig hard driive and it functions but anyhow...

we dont have a modem we plug straight to the antannea (misspelled)

the router is a Belkin i really dont know the make but yeah

i decided to do a reformating of the problem drive after it fully siezed up and i couldnt even get to safe mode and normal mode was very buggy

im currently about to install xp sp2 on it again

once it is done ill start from scratch and try again but if it has problems ill do the CMD prompt command you told me to use

(i know this doesnt fit but it keeps saying it cant read some files when i try to install but the disk is clean...hmmmmm
