Missing Options under connection advanced properties tab
Hi,
I am trying to share files on my gateway PC to my laptop. When I go to local area connection properties and click the advanced tab it only shows windows firewall settings, below that is blank. It should show a sharing option but its blank. On all my other PC's that option has been available. Every thing Ive dug up on the net about sharing shows pictures that have the option. I run XP home SP2. I wanted to know how this may have happend and can I get it to come back without reformatting my machine? |

Re: Missing Options under connection advanced properties tab
Wrong place to look! You don't want ICS, which is the "other" thing that appears below the firewall configuration.
This TCP/IP Home Networking and File Sharing Tutorial should get you started.
