ics causes host computer to lose internet connection

i have ics configured between my laptop an xbox 360. when i have the xbox and laptop connected the 360 connects to the internet but the laptop will not. aim continues to work on the laptop however. i think it may be an issue of lan having higher priority than wifi but i do not know

I'd either run a wire or use a wireless bridge. ICS is a major PITA to use.

when i set up a bridge the internet on my laptop doesn't work. all i did for a bridge though was select the lan and wifi and right click and bridge. is there more i have to do to set one up?

A "wireless bridge" is a separate device.
