How to connect 2 desktop pc with internet?
Ok this is my setup. I got one PC downstairs with internet already. I got another desktop PC upstairs with no internet, iI just bought that pc for my sister. Well I got a modem and a linkys router. Before I got the new PC, my sister laptop worked fine and had internet. Now she got a desktop PC and wants internet on it. Is there anything I need to do this or what. Thanks.

Re: How to connect 2 desktop pc with internet?
well if your router enabling wireless network in your house, you should install a wireless PCI card to your desktop (where u have to buy it) so that it can receive the wireless signal and get connected .. another way is to buy an ethernet cable, connect it to your router and to ur pc .. (enable LAN Ethernet connection) .. however u need a long one to connect it from downstair to upstair.. i would suggest u use the wireless card instead... GudLuck
