Timeout when downloading
Hello,
Problems with my internet connection. Got Telia 8mbit connection about a month ago, very smooth when using internet explorer. The problem is, as soon as i open up bitlord or utorrent or any other 'downloading program' the connections gets very unstable. I've beeing pinging www.google.se for a while and on every second line or more i get a timeout. This means i can't be logged on to msn or such program and internet is veeeery slow plus all these timeouts disturb the download making it impossible to go above 100kb/s. I've forwarded the ports on my router, and sometimes, if im lucky the downloads will go smooth for a few minutes... I also want to add that I don't have these downloading issues from internet, the speed from rapidshare and such are at 700-900kb/s. The Router that im using is called 'Netgear RP614v4'. It also seems to be a difference in timeouts depending on different files im downloading, but i guess that can't be right.. I'm thankfull for all answers and any suggestions are welcomed. I've attached an image of a typical ping www.google.com -t while downloading. PS. Sorry about the english, I'm from a non-english speaking country. Regards, Johnstone |
