OS: windows xp home edition


decreasing speed

everytime i download my transfer rate is like 300KB/s then is slowly keeps going down then it stays on about 73KB/s. Any body know y. Some info pls.

This is actually a perfectly normal indication on many ISP connections. I'd guess you have something like a 768kbit connection. The file download estimate starts high and then zeros in on the actual speed as more history is accumulated.

thanx too bad there isnt a way to get more speed i have cogeco cable goes around 74KB/s max

My sis has Mountain hers goes like over 300KB/s i would get that but its not in my area
