Unexpected error creating network bridge.
I'm trying to create a network bridge between a wireless pcmcia (cisco) and an integrated Intel NIC GD82559ER on an XP SP2 ruggered PC. The cisco is connected to the LAN and the intel is connected to another pc in order to get it connected to the LAN too. When creating the bridge, XP tells "Unexpected error while configuring network bridge" with no no events logged or so. The bridge is created but only with the wireless NIC. The intel remains on LAN with all the options (tcp, MS network client, etc) unselected (they doens't appear on cisco)
The computer has too a 1394 network adapter and no problem bridging it with wireless but the same with the intel. I've seen the MS knoledge base articles, but nothing applies. Regards. |
