[SOLVED] Wireless to peer to peer

Basically, at my buddies place he has wireless internet but not from his apartment, but from another.

What I want to do is connect a cable from his pc's nic to my pc's nic and have a peer to peer network that can obtain internet from his wireless. My pc can't support wireless because of the durn windows xp 64bit OS with my USB belkin wireless adapter.

How would I go about making this peer to peer network work?

Wireless goes to his pc, then his nic to my nic via hardwired cable.

Re: [SOLVED] Wireless to peer to peer

Yes,

Steps:
1. Laptop using wireless to the internet you go into control panel > setup home network, 1st option, pc connects directly to the internet and others through it.
2. Select connection that is used to connect to the internet.
3. Other pc, make sure connected via cable to the other pc.
4. Control panel > setup home network > 2nd option, pc connects threw network device, hub, or another pc.
5. On the pc that connects directly to the network, control panel > network options > and turn on Internet Connection Sharing.

Pray...

lol
