Wireless Zero Settings Get Deleted When I Turn Off My HP Laptop
I have an hp8000 laptop and a d-link DIR-615 router. I set my Wireless Zero Settings to automatic detection. When I turn off my laptop, my Wireless Zero Settings get deleted, and I have to set them manually each time I turn on the laptop. This problem started when I called D-link and they walked me through putting WPA encryption on my wireless network. When the network was unsecured, the laptop automatically detected my network. D-link insists the problem is software on my laptop. HP says its the encryption. Any ideas? Is there a conflict between Wireless Zero, and the HP Wireless Assistant configuration program that comes with HP laptops? Is it a firewall problem?

Have you tried removing ALL the wireless profiles and detecting and configuring the laptop wireless connection again?
