How to make sure I have Dynamic IP?

Hi all,
I want to enable Dynamic IP. I think it is enabled but I'm not sure.. where do I go for that setting?
My ISP is Qwest, if that helps.

Re: How to make sure I have Dynamic IP?

You are VERY unlikely to have a static IP address. OTOH, your IP address could stay the same for months at a time, depending on the specific ISP network.

Please supply the following info, exact make and models of the equipment please.

Make and model of the broadband modem.
Make and model of the router.

Re: How to make sure I have Dynamic IP?

You have dynamic IP addresses on the WAN (Internet) side of your router. Are you trying to do something within your local network with IP addresses?
