I got the same exact problem except...

I want to let my sister use my printer through the home network

We both have XP Pro SP 2 Media Edition
I enabled File and Printer Sharing On Both Computers
I disabled windows firewall on both
The Printer [HP PSC 1315 All-in-One series] is Connected to My computer
My computer is connected to an Actiontec Modem
My sister is connected to a Belkin router that is connected to my modem

I cannot find her on the home network or vice versa

Help Please =]

Even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread when you have a new issue. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread.
