Setting up WLAN using XP and Netgear
I have a legal service center.
My internet provider is ADSL Demon ISP. I have 16 computers which are laptops and desktop machines. All machines have wireless cards installed. But not all are netgear wireless cards. I want to set up a wireless local area network. All of the computers should be able to connect to the internet wireless. All of the computers should be able to share 1 printer. All of the computers should be able to share files. Demon have not provided me with wireless router. Just a Modem! For my specification above, what netgear product would let me achieve my aim? Would would I need? 1) Netgear ADSL+Prosafe VPN Modem router? 2) Netgear Prosafe 48 Port Smart Fast Switch with 2 gigabit ports? 3) Netgear Prosafe Dual Band Wireless Access Point WAG102? 4) Wireless Switch - WFS709TP Prosafe Smart Wireless Switch? Inaddition any online tutorial how I could set this network up using Windows XP? Many Thanks Gurmeet Singh. |
