Should I be using VLAN's?
This is a diagram I made of our network here at work.
![]() Right now, all of the buildings except for GES are all on the 10.30.x.x subnet. The only building not on this subnet is the GES building, which is 10.40.0.x and it is connected via a T1 line. What I wanted to know is if I should setup vlans for each building that is connected with the fiber so that our broadcast domain is not so large. I'm worried that we have too much traffic coming across at all times due to having too many on a single subnet. Give me your opinions please. I very much appreciate it. If you need me to be more specific on something, just ask and I will try to answer the best I can. Last edited by seth_turner_04; 10-03-2007 at 12:24 PM. |
