Pinging software
Hello, I'm currently trying to identify an IP address of a networked printer (it's a zebra 640i) as we don't know the IP address and we're trying to get it to work over a small network (we've wired it into a hub which in turn is connected to a Windows 2000 PC and Linksys Wireless AP)
We've tried a network sniffer that monitors the IP traffic, and this didn't seem to work, so I was wondering if anybody might be able to suggest a piece of software that can send out a ping to all devices connected to the network and then from that identify the IP address from the returning pings. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide! |

Re: Pinging software
Take a look at SuperScan. http://www.snapfiles.com/get/superscan.html
Also, are you sure that the Zebra printer has DHCP enabled to get an IP address out of the box?
