Two Routers

Ok, So I have a Wireless router connected to my cable modem. I also have a spare wireless router, is there any way i can set the spare up so that will basically pick up my main routers wireless and use that that as internet? I have my computer, which is wired to the first router, but I also have my XBox 360, which doesn't have wireless, but I can't connect it wired... any solution other then to get either the Xbox or PC wireless?

Care to share the make/model of the routers?

Sorry, one is a linksys, WRT65 I think, the other is a net gear, they are both common home routers.

Sorry, you have to be specific.

I suggest you visit the manufacturer's sites for the routers and see if either of them has the provisions for a bridge mode or access point mode. This is the only way you're going to get them talking wirelessly.

It's a belkin Wireless G it has AP mode, but that seem break it, and I have a wireless Linksys, which I hacked the firmware to upload DDWRT, which has WRD, but nothing seems to do it.

Not sure what to tell you. If the Belkin AP mode doesn't work, and DD-WRT doesn't accomplish it either, I'm not sure what's happening.

Yeah, I was doing more research on the router and it's a very bad version, which will not run DDWRT or OpenWRT. It's not able to do anything that'll let it do wireless to wireless, which sucks. the DDWRT on the linksys is able to, but I'd need two routers that were able to, and the Belkin can't... oh well, I got rid of the Xbox anyways :P

Actually, you shouldn't need two routers that have AP capability, just one.
