Monitoring other PC's on a network
Can anyone tell me if there is any such software which will alow me to monitor the other PC's on the network, and bar them from certain sites?
Also; Is it at all possible to limit the speeds used by certain PC's on the network? I have a 20MB connection, and my brother keeps hogging the speeds by downloading using a filesharing client. I want to limit his download speeds so it doesnt effect the other users on the network. Thanks for any help given. |

Re: Monitoring other PC's on a network
You can do this on the computer he uses.
Whatever router or adapter he uses, go into Device Manager, and select Properties of the device. Within the menus, there's an option for limit bandwidth, and most have a way to exclude sites based on address or keyword. I'm not using Windows right now, so I don't know the exact menu option, but I have done it. |
