Ok so the last time i posted on here i had a crappy old pc with xp and a wired router giving me crap about DNS whenever i tried to connect to xbox live on my 360, So seeing as that one died i got a new vista pc and a netgear DG834GT Wireless router, Now the funny thing is i cna easily connect to it on my pc and the guy that came to have a look at what was wrong with it could connect easily on his mac ox or whatever... Anyways i today phoned up Wanadoo, or Orange.., To ask them what my DNS server settings where, as one way to solve the porblem on my 360 was to find out this form my isp so i did. I typed in the new DNS settings for my Wireless router using static DNS and still no dice...IM SO FRUSTRATED WITH THIS ****, ITS HALO 3 TIME TOMMOROW, AND IM NOT GONNA GET ONLINE, my "wired" router worked fine before i reset it like ages ago, but that was my wired one which as soon as i reset it and used the exact same settings would not connect, and i would just be left with DNS Error which kind'a pisses you off after seeing it for the 50th time.
Other Info OS: Vista Router: Netgear Super G Wireless Modem router DG834GT My I.P: is dynamic so it would just change as soon as i turn my pc off, could that be the problem? I fu need anymore inof ASK! Because i need it set up before tommorow!! ![]() ![]() Sorry ididnt exactly specify the problem, its the fact that i can connect to the router but "apparently" because of my DNS settings i cannot connect to the internet with it... SO there ya go! ![]() ![]() Also its say on my xbox live thing when it fails to connect when i test the connection at DNS it says make sure you cna browse the web from your pc with the router or something...
