Problem With Belkin.....Help needed
Hi all,
I have a Belkin Pre-N router. When i have a wireless connection on my laptop, it shows the signal strength as excellent, but the webpages doesnt open. I have to manually reset everytime when this happens. It happens frequently. So, is this problem with ISP provider or with modem or router??? Is there any solution for this? Thanks robust |

First stop, I'd see if there is any updated firmware for the router. Also, I'd try doing a factory reset of the router and reconfiguring.
If you have no issues with wired connections, I'd be looking at the router or the wireless computer.

Re: Problem With Belkin.....Help needed
OK, we're looking in the wrong place. Obviously, this is not a wireless issue.
First step would be to connect directly to the broadband modem with a wired connection and see if this eliminates the issue. That will tell us if it's the router or something else. Remember to power cycle the modem when you change the attached device.
