Windows Wireless Management/WEP Key problem
So I recently upgraded my LinksysWRT45G security from WAP to WEP (i know.. i took my time haha). Anyways I've been having this problem on one of my older laptops that has an external wireless card (PCI) B-type. Anyways, Windows for some reason forgets the WEP key that i put in and therefore the connection dies sometimes. I'm not even sure if it forgets it all the time but it disconnects alot more times than when i was using WAP security.
If no one knows how to solve that, i was wondering if anyone could offer up some 3rd party wireless management software that I could possible try out to see if that solves the problem. Thanks |

Re: Windows Wireless Management/WEP Key problem
Why are you downgrading from WPA to the must less secure WEP?
