Notebook wireless card

Yep, it's a standard wireless card. What's the make/model of your laptop? Most newer laptops have wireless integrated into the machine.

The new dell inspiron where you can choose the color, but what my question was if if you stuck it in the laptop would you get wireless internet anywhere?

No, that's a standard wireless card, it has the same capabilities as the built-in wireless in the laptop.

If you want "wireless everywhere", the closest you can get is a cellular data card from one of the major cell phone providers. It's not cheap, consider yourself warned.

I can't get one, for my cell company cingular said they would charge me 59.99 a month.
