[SOLVED] Wireless Network with Cellular Internet Access

My brother has two laptops and the only access he has to the internet is through a cellular PC Card modem placed in either of the two laptops. He would like to be able to have both machines connected to the internet at the same time through a wireless local network connection. This would also allow anyone else visiting with a laptop to also get on the internet at the same time.

What equipment does he need? I'm thinking the laptop with the PC Card somehow needs to hook up to a wireless router which would then provide the wireless connections to other computers.

P.S. One laptop is running XP and the other is running Vista.
