[SOLVED] wireless internet not working
Hi,
For the past few weeks I am not able to access wireless internet. Though the network is recognized and logged in no data transfer is taking place. I had virus problems which were recently resolved through general security forum (please search with user name nsrao98 to have a look at the logs etc). Can anybody help me please? Regards, NS |

Re: wireless internet not working
Since you lost access when removing malware it may be a problem with Windows LSP.
Take a look at this program called LSPFIX: http://cexx.org/lspfix.htm It may be able to fix things for you if your connection was indeed damaged by malware. BMR777

Uhh, if you have XP-SP2, do NOT use the previous suggestion!
TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Windows XP with SP2. Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt. Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ip reset reset.log Reboot the machine.
