I have two questions.
1) In the Win2k3 DNS Servers we have, we have a lot of domains being hosted on this server and I am getting worried that if this server ever went down, I dont have a backup of the domains that are entered into it, so how can I back up these domains? 2) We have two web servers using Apache, hosted on the same rack as our name servers, we have 4 NS servers, 2 are set on a VLAN with local IP's, 30.16, and 30.17, they act as the DC for our AD, the other two are just Name Servers on a different VLAN 40.20, and 40.21 with outside world IP's tied to them. The people inside the intranet cannot access the sites we are hosting on our NS servers until we add them to the 30.16, and 30.17 servers. Is there a way to make it so they can access these sites without adding them to the intranet name servers? Whenever they access the site thats not added to the intranet name servers they get a error like this: ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While trying to retrieve the URL: http://*.*.*.*/ (edited) The following error was encountered: Connection Failed The system returned: (111) Connection refusedThe remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again. Your cache administrator is webmaster. |
