Help....Please!

I am trying to access my printer that is connected to my MAC from my laptop running XP. When I go to network's I don't see my router or MAC. I am using a D-Link 802.11 router and the printer is connected to the MAC via a USB. I had this set up in the past but for the life of me cannot figure it out again! I would also like to view files on either machine from the other as well. Any help would be greatly appriciated!!!

Thanks so much!

I'm not a MAC person, but here's a tutorial on the process: http://www.homepcnetwork.com/pcmacovrf.htm

Re: Help....Please!

Thanks John!

From what I read it looks like this would be a wired solution and I am looking to do it wirelessly. I looked at the other articles on the site but did not find anything. Any other ideas? Thanks again!!

Re: Help....Please!

Once you get it working wired, then you just need to configure the wireless for a connection to the router, which you already have. There is no difference in file/print sharing for wired or wireless connections.

Re: Help....Please!

Again, unless I am reading this wrong, I have to install hardware. I know I did not have to do this in the past. Any other suggestions?

Re: Help....Please!

No, you do not have to install any hardware.
