USb internet loses connection with google

Well my dad like me to download google video stuff and put it on his ipod, however ever since i stoped using my ethernet conection (now goes to my 360) half of the downloads stop short around 2-3 min in

i would like any help you have to offer it only happends with google.

Please supply the following info, exact models of the equipment please.

The name of your ISP and country of residence.
Make/model of the broadband modem. If dial-up, please specify.
Make/model of the router (if any).
Connection type, wired, wireless.
Make/model of network card or wireless adapter.
Make/model of your computer (motherboard if home-built).
Version and patch level of Windows, i.e. XP-Home SP2.

Qwests 256kps ,usa
Actiontec model # gt701-wg wireless version
none
usb wired
Its on the usb port but i guses it is a realtek ethernet port if i was using it.
Its an way upgraded hp a1410y, motherboard located here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/g...reg_R1002_USEN

Oh and its compleatly patched windows vista basic, thanks john

I'd lose the USB NIC and connect a PCI NIC.

If you have a wired connection to the XBOX, why not use a $10 switch to also supply a wired connection to the computer? You'll be MUCH happier with the performance.

Actually my internet is so slow that it does not make much of a difference i will try it with the ethernet.

I think we're just trying to go for reliability here, not speed.
