Question Setting up network to bypass proxy

Greetings all,
I have a bit of a problem.. I hope someone can help..
I'm cross-posting in Win2k forum because this would apply to both..

I want to make the computers in the bottom of the diagram not have to have a proxy set on them, in order to get online..

ANY computer connected to the cisco router has to have proxy settings set. This is why I set up the computer with 2 network cards running Win2k Advanced Server. I want to use this computer to "add" the proxy to all the requests of the computers at the bottom..
Example: PC 1 - When connecting to a web site, I first have to go into IE and add the proxy 168.0.0.1:8080.
I want to make the Win2K Adv. Server computer do this instead, acting as a "go-between" This is the only setup that will work.
PC 1, 2, etc.. can't have proxies set on them. They are new computers being set up for customers to take home, and I KNOW my techs are going to forget to get rid of the proxy, then the people can't get online once they get home.
I know this can be done, just can't remember how.
Any win2K server nuts around to help?

Re: Setting up network to bypass proxy

Hi Shacky

Did you manage to find a solution for the probvlem? I have exactly the same problem / setup - the PC with the 2NIC's is an ISA 2006 machine but I haven't been able to figure out how to add the proxy to the connection.

If you know please let me know!

Thanks!
