XP wired / wireless prob
It's a network thing.
I've got 2 XP machines and a wireless network for them both to access the internet. I need to share files between the 2 machines but want to do it over a wired connection for reliability. I installed 2 NICs, used a crossover cable, set up a workgroup and then set up the file shares. It still seems to use the wireless network for the file sharing though when I want it to use the wired one. How can I make it use the wired connection only for the two machines to talk to eachother? I still want to keep the wireless connection too (for internet access) Help needed please! Last edited by VantageUK; 07-14-2007 at 09:27 PM. |
