Network timeout able to be changed for XP clients?
Lets say you have a shortcut which points to an old document that was on an old server which doesnt exist...
If you do certain things, like try to use the start menu.. it will sit there cranking for about 60 seconds or so. Is there somewhere in GPO either server or client that this "network timeout" value could be reduced? I'm not even sure what entry or option this would be... Anyone ever done this before? Thanks |
