Network Printer between laptop and PC

HI guys. I have a new desktop (WIn Vista) in my home office, laptop (Win XP) I use all over the house and Sky wireless router. Networked laptop and PC, cannot print from laptop via network - PC receives it, spools it to printer (OKI), no printout! Both PC and laptop can print if connected directly to printer so drivers o; must be network problem or conflict of Windows??. Any ideas please???

when you networked your laptop, did you configue the printer on the laptop to share a netwok printer?
