att connectivity

Ok, i recently set up a DIAL UP ATT CONNECTION, BUT EVERY TIME I TRY TO CONNECT, IT SAYS THE LINE IS BUSY. WHAT KINDS OF PROBLEMS COULD CAUSE THIS?

Try checking with AT&T and see if they've changed their POP numbers, or pick a new local number from their list.

i'm pretty sure all the numbers are the same. what i did was download the att installer and restore the account i had on a different computer, that way i could use dial up on either of the computers. ive done this before, except the only thing that was different was i restored an account on a computer with vista this time, last time it was on xp.

I guess you'll have to contact AT&T. I don't know what to tell you from this end.
