RESOLVED VPN problem ... please help

Hello everybody

Im not particularly computer literate but here goes

Im trying to use VPN to connect to an office from my home PC using Windows XP I have connected ok using the same PC from another location but when I try it from my home connection it logs me in OK and says I am connected but I cant see or even ping the office servers - Ive been told I may have an address conflict ?

I was advised to run ipconfig /all and this is what came out - if anyone has any clues as to whats going on and how I might fix it i would be really grateful

Hi Sarah, and welcome to TSF!

First check that the firewall on the servers at work is not blocking you. If you are behind a router at home, it may be blocking the IP that your router is masking your real IP as.

Also check that your router allows IPSec and PPTP passthrough and that it is enabled.

Check in the router setup. It you are using a linksys router, it is in the Security section under VPN Passthrough.
