Internet Disappears
Hi, I hope I'm not asking what someone has asked before.
I'm using the broadband internet service by iinet in Australia, and it doesn't seem to be very stable. But that's not the main problem. Few months ago when the broadband gets cut off, my computer manages to restore itself when the broadband comes back again. But now, after the broadband is cut off, and when it comes back again, my computer doesn't seem to restore itself anymore even though all my housemates say that their internet service is back. The internet comes back only after I restart my computer. I'm connecting to the internet via a router, LAN connections are still working when the internet isn't. Is this due to some sort of settings? All my housemates and myself are using Windows XP. |
