Cant access w-less router...

I set a password for my belkin w-less router but when I go to try to login i get access denied... thing is... i know im entering the correct password because i wrote it down. I used special characters in my password, could this be why its not allowing me to enter??

How can I reset the router to default settings... I know theres an option to do this via the browser, but since I can't access it thats out and not an option.

Re: Cant access w-less router...

update

Ok, I knew I had the pass right.... well it turns out that I can't get in only when using firefox... errr.... but I can get through when using IE. Well, I can deal with that I guess..

I gave the router a good look front to back and I don't dont see any place to shove a paper clip into it to reset it like you can on the linksys models... if I did ever lose the password how could I reset this router??

hope i never lose the pass... lol

Re: Cant access w-less router...

Most of the Belkin router's will have a RESET button at the back you can simply insert a pen or a paperclip and keep it pressed for 30 seconds whilst the Power is ON. If you could provide the exact model number I can help you, Model number begins with F5D and is located at the base of the router..

Hi Chin,

As i told u earlier you will find a reset hole at the back of this router. Insert a paperclip and keep that pressed for 30 seconds whilst the power is ON, Router will be reset.

Re: Cant access w-less router...

Since you can access it with IE and not Firefox, a reset isn't going to accomplish anything but create work for you. Obviously, there's some reason that Firefox is having an issue, I'd address that instead of doing a reset that will just waste time.
