port fowarding
i always have thought of port fowarding being used when there are apps on your computer using certain ports that the router blocks. do routers/firewalls block connections to remote ports on servers. i was looking in game documentation for battlefield 2 and it recommends making sure that ports on remote servers are opened in router. are these ports two way traffic? is that why. i thought local port and remote port are always different? plz help very confused.
Can someone plz reply i need help. going insane hereLast edited by wheatlake : 04-15-2007 at 05:23 PM. |
