sorry, i could not finish my question...

1. so, i have a wire , which comes from somewhere and connected to the wan port in adsl or dsl modem. (i didnt plug it, it has been here for a long time)
2. i connected the blue wire that came with my wireless router (W:R) and plugged one end to the 1X port in my broadband modem (adsl), and other end to WAN port of my W:R (wireless router).
3. took another wire that was connecting my modem to my computer, so i took this wire and plugged into the LAN 1 port of my W:R and other end into the computer.

so i did/connected every wire as it was said in the book that came with W-less:Router. But i dont understand why i should connect some wire (from modem and W:R) to my computer if i want to make a wireless internet.

so, the problem is NOTHING WORKS.
my wireless router is Zyxel 336m, and i bought a hardware with antenn that i installed inside of my computer. (i think we call it just a router)...

i entered in site 192.168.1.1 and created the SSID name, security key..
then i tryed to set up in the control panel - i wrote the SSID name... then the security key.. the i chose WPA security instead of WEF or something...
saved everything in USB.... and took usb into the wireless router.. W:R light signaled 3 times.. then i took it of and plug into computer again. then pressed next and finished the instalation...
first, before finishing the instalation the problem had occured... due to using other software for wireless internet connection. then i tourned it of and used standar windows Zero.

after that.. when i look at the Available Wireless Networks it shows few wirelesses of mine and probably of my neigbours. i chose mine and used usb to connect/set up then wrote the key and pressed CONNECT.
but it didnt connect. It said Acquiring ***** (dont really remember this text), then disconects and automatically tries to connect again, and the same situation again and again.

i also tried to connect by the software of my router but it also didnt work.


please help me to find out the problem and set up it correctly......

How about some make/model info on the broadband modem? Can you plug directly into this modem and connect?

there is no name written in my broadband modem.
YES, if i connect broadband modem to my computer, then i use wirely internet. this internet im using at the moment.

But nothing of wireless works.

While connected to the modem, do this.

Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt:

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
