Hi, I have a problem, I have setup succesfully the printer server, a Link Sys, and it works fine, but after 1 or 2 days, it stops responding (the printers), what I discover I have to do is turn off my USR robotics router (Wireless too) and turn on again and printing will start working again.
In the wireless printer server I have setup the network settings to DHCP and not static. Also it uses UPnP and Raw. If I turn off and on the wireless printer server, it won't do any good but ONLY if I do it to my router. Sometimes when it does this type of problem, the printer will make a noise like it's going to start printing but it doesn't and that's when I have to restart the router. Any ideas on how to fix this in 'plain' english please ? I'll appreciate the help Thanks in advance Running XP and LinkSysy Wireless router DPR-1260 and US Robotics 8054 router. |

Re: Wireless Printer Server Problem
I'd start by upgrading the firmware on both the print server and the router.

Re: Wireless Printer Server Problem
Well, it sure sounds like the kind of issue that firmware updates frequently address. However, if they're already current, I'm not sure where I'd go.
