Network Cable unplugged
Hi
I have a problem with one of my PC's. I just upgraded it from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Pro. In Windows 2000 my network was working great. However now that I have upgraded XP is telling me "a network cable is unplugged". Now I have used 3 different cables and it still said the same thing. I'm pretty sure its just the OS because I can see the lights in my router indicate that it is successfully connected. If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks. |

Re: Network Cable unplugged
Thanks for the quick reply.
I followed your instructions but it didn't work. I solved the issue however by deleting XP off the drive and installing Ubuntu Linux. Everything is all working like a charm now. Thanks for your help again. |

That's another method.
