Network Adapters MAJOR Problem

not to long ago, my network stopped working, restarted, and noticed the connect option under start did not show. i checked under network connections and noticed the folder was empty. so, i went to device manager and checked under network adapters for problems, sure enough, every single one has a yellow icon for Code 39. i have a dell xps gen 2 notebook(if more information is needed please let me know) i have tried reinstalling sp2, system restore, roll back, install drivers from the disk dell has given me, nothing has worked. i've searched forums but i've found no solution for my problem. any help would be great. also, i had a computer tech look at it real fast, he stated that the drivers load up but are then blocked or something of this nature leading him to believe it's a virus though i've done a scan with norton and nothing.

Re: Network Adapters MAJOR Problem

Have you tried backing up your data and doing a factory restore to the shipping configuration? If they still fail in that configuration, the hardware has most likely failed.
