TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Windows XP with SP2.

For these commands, Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt.

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ip reset reset.log

Re: i need help bad!!!! please!!!!

Hi Jarron,

Did you manage to resolve this issue as my PC has had the same issue since last week and I cannot resolve it. My DHCP will not start, When I reset my IP the log is full of comments refering to Bad etc etc. Reseting my Winsock does not work either.

If you have resolved this please let me know how

Many thanks
